For this award judges will be looking for the best independent, multi-brand footwear retailer that is completely or significantly focused on the comfort market. The winner might have a standalone shop or a separate department dedicated to comfort styles. Judges will be looking for great choice of product, indepth product knowledge and, crucially, spot-on fitting services. Independent retailers are classified as running less than 10 stores and/or concessions.
